We use materials only sourced by ARA Frames.
Mouldings: 100% Wood & Metal Mouldings. We do not use plastic/fiber/PS due to its negative environmental and health effects and shorter shelf life.
Matboards: Mats are the most important element in framing. They protect and enhance an artwork. All our mat boards are conservation grade. Conservation mats are 100% acid-free and lignin-free. These mats are approved by Professional Picture Framers Association (U.S.A.) & The Fine Art Trade Guild (U.K.) regulation standards.
Glazing: We currently use Clear Acrylic and Ultra Vue 70® glazing for our online store. Ultra Vue glazing is 99% anti-reflective and protects the artwork from 70% U.V. radiation.
